Ecclesiastical Insurance had limited imagery that could be used effectively in a web site, so Edward created a range of icons that could be used graphically throughout the site. Developed as white icons on coloured backgrounds enabled the sections to be coloured coded and the icons easily changed when appearing over a new coloured background. The logo was of the flat 2-d variety, so Edward added a bit of 3-d expertise. The site was still under construction by Edward's last full-time employer when he resigned to set up design-spinner.
